Open House Schedule

The Open House program provides an opportunity to tour the campus, meet LHU students, faculty, as well as representatives from Financial Aid, Admissions, Honors, ROTC, Student Life and more. Enjoy a complimentary lunch before heading home.

*Faculty from the Physician Assistant Graduate Program will be available at the undergraduate Health Science presentation to answer questions about the graduate program.


Schedule of Events

9:00-9:50 a.m. Meet & Greet With Faculty & Staff

An opportunity to informally meet with faculty regarding academic programs prior to the formal Academic Overview session. Staff representatives will also be available to talk about admission, study abroad, community service, ROTC, clubs/activities and much more.
(Please note: The "Academic Overview" session below will provide detailed information about the student's intended major. This session is to help you determine which overview session you would like to attend.)


 9:25-10:00 a.m. Question & Answer Session with Current Students(optional)

Ask current LHU students your burning questions...What is there to do on campus? Are classes harder than you thought they might be? Do you feel safe on campus? This is the perfect time to discover why our students chose to spend their college years at The Haven.


10:00-11:00 a.m. Welcome Meeting


Families will hear from LHU administrators about the excellent value that a Haven education offers students.


11:00-11:45 a.m. Academic Overview with Faculty Representatives


A list of majors will be enclosed in the packet received at registration. Students will have the option of selecting which 45 minute academic presentation they would like to attend.


11:45-1:30 p.m. Tour of Campus and Lunch


Student-led tours will include academic buildings, the student recreation center, union building, library, residence hall, dining hall and more.


1:30-3:00 p.m. Information Sessions(*These activities run concurrently)

An opportunity to learn more about the processes associated with financial aid, NCAA athletic eligibility and Admission.

Worried that the financial aid process may be overwhelming? Not sure where to begin? Attend this session to hear an overview of the financial aid process.

--> Athletics Session*
Prospective student-athletes can learn more about LHU athletics and the NCAA clearinghouse by attending this informative session.

--> Final Questions and Thank You Gift*
Admissions representatives will be available to answer any remaining questions. Students will turn in their completed survey for a coupon for a free gift from the LHU Bookstore.
