We understand that finding money to help pay for college is often the most stressful part of the college search process. Therefore, we invite you to apply for a Lock Haven University scholarship. Some of the awards are merit-based while others depend on residence, major or SAT/ACT scores.
For priority consideration for an LHU freshman scholarship, students must complete and submit the online scholarship application by Friday, February 14th, 2014. Scholarship applications will continue to be accepted after that date only if scholarships remain unawarded. These scholarships are reserved for incoming freshmen only and will be applied to the 2014-2015 academic year.
A list of 2014 scholarships and their requirements should be reviewed prior to submitting the application. The scholarships on this list are reserved for first-time freshmen students. Please note that some scholarships require a second application to be completed through a specific organization.
If you are a high school senior, check with your high school guidance counselor for additional sponsors. Scholarship information is also available online through other sites.
