We understand that finding money to help pay for college is often the most stressful part of the college search process. Therefore, we invite you to apply for a Lock Haven University scholarship. Some of the awards are merit-based while others depend on residency, financial need, major, or SAT/ACT scores.

For priority consideration for a Lock Haven University freshman scholarship, students must complete and submit the online scholarship application by Friday, February 13, 2015. These scholarships are reserved for incoming freshmen only and will be applied to the 2015-2016 academic year.
A list of 2015 scholarships and their requirements should be reviewed prior to submitting
the application. The scholarships on this list are reserved for first-time freshmen
students. If additional scholarships are added after the student applies, he/she will
automatically be considered for all new awards.

Board of Governors STEM Scholarship
The Board of Governor's STEM Scholarship is for an incoming freshman who is a resident of Pennsylvania. Applicants must pursue a degree in a STEM area (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Health Science*), have a minimum combined critical reading and math SAT score of 1200 and a 3.5 cumulative GPA. *Community Health track is excluded. This scholarship is renewable and students may receive up to full tuition.

for selecting the recipient, your LHU Freshman Scholarship Application will be all
that you need to complete for consideration. Many of the scholarships offered require
another application - please read the applicant instructions for each scholarship.
