Health Science Days

 

 

Natural Science Days

Geared toward the high school junior or senior, the information session  includes a presentation by an Admission Counselor, tour of campus and lunch.  See the Admissions calendar for available dates. 

Itinerary:
  9:15   Registration/Check-in

10:30   Admissions Presentation
11:30   Lunch in Bentley Hall
12:30   Checkout

 

Students who are interested in Health Science are encouraged to attend one of several Health Science Visit Days to get an in-depth look at the very popular major.

In addition to touring campus and receiving general information about LHU, guests will meet with a faculty member and tour the Willis Health Professions Building.

Dates: 6/1, 6/6, 6/14, 6/23, 6/27, 7/6, 7/12, 7/18, 7/21, 7/26

 

Students who are interested in a discipline in the natural sciences are encouraged to attend one of several Natural Science Visit Days for an in-depth look at these programs.  The visit experience provides an opportunity for our visitors to meet with faculty members in the departments of Biology, Chemistry, Geology, and Physics and to tour our state-of-the-art Science Center.

Orientation

The tour only option provides a brief, yet comprehensive look at our beautiful campus. Please note that this option does not include an admissions presentation.

This option is typically for students who have previously visited and are looking to take a second look.

Tours are available by appointment. Call 570-484-2027 to schedule.

 

Transfer students often have specific questions unique to their situation. To ensure all questions are thoroughly addressed, transfer students are encouraged to visit the transfer page for visitation options unique to them.

Transfer students interested in general information are welcome to attend an information session.

 

Join your future Haven classmates to learn everything you need to get off to a great start at The Haven! 

In addition to making new friends, you will start the process for getting your student ID card and will register for a parking pass. This program also sets University expectations for both students and parents.

Unless there are unusual circumstances, groups of  fewer than 10 people are best served by participating in our daily tours and information sessions. 

Larger groups (high schools, community programs, etc.) are welcome to visit our campus by making special arrangements to visit our campus by submitting our large group visit request form.
