English Club
Welcome to the home page of Lock
Haven University's English Club. The English Club is open to any
student at Lock Haven who is interested in literature or writing--you do
not have to be an English major!
The club meets about once
every two weeks and after a brief business meeting, we read poetry and
prose, either our own or that of a favorite author. We also get
together during the semester for parties and trips to places that have
literary significance. Recently we have been to New York City, San Francisco, and Boston.
Many English Club members belong to Sigma Tau Delta, a national honor society for English
students. Sigma Tau Delta membership is not necessary to be part of
the English Club.
