Employee Self Service (ESS) is a web-based secure service that provides employees with information related to their employment with Lock Haven University.  It provides the ability to directly view your human resource and payroll data in the University Human Resource/Payroll System.  It is an excellent opportunity for you to ensure that the information is correct and kept up to date.  The level of security is similar to accessing commercial sites such as your bank and requires secured password a  level of security is similar to accessing commercial sites such as your bank and requires secured password access. 

ESS allows employees to view:
Leave Balances
Banking Information
Payroll statements (Current & past)
Addresses and other personal data (dates of hire)
TSA & other saving plans contributions  
Benefit plans, coverage, dependents & contributions         

ESS allows employees to update:
Emergency contact information
W4 withholding information
Confirm or update Ethnicity/Race information   
Process Benefits changes during Open Enrollment
