Marianne E. Hazel
Associate Dean
College of Arts and Science and College of Education and Human Services

Marianne Hazel changes roles at Lock Haven University from her previous position as an Associate Professor and Assistant Director of Student Teaching and Field Experiences that she held from 2002-2008 to associate dean.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Kindergarten Education from Penn State in 1990.  She earned two Master’s degrees; a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Penn State in 1995 and a Master of Science in Administration from McDaniel College in 1998.  Dr. Hazel earned her D. Ed. in Educational Leadership from Immaculata University in 2003.

Lynn A. Bruner
Assistant Professor
Psychology

Lynn Bruner comes to Lock Haven University from a Private Practice Psychologist from 2003 to present.  She received two Bachelor degees; a BA in Psychology and a B Mus in Music Therapy from Oberlin College and Oberlin Consenatory in 1988.  Dr. Bruner earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 1997. 
 

Mark A. Jones
Assistant Professor
Business Administration, Computer Science and Information Technology

Mark Jones comes to Lock Haven University from the Kutztown University of PA where he was an Associate Professor from August 2002 to July 2008.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Millersville University of PA in 1987 and his Masters degree in Computer Information Science from the University of Delaware in 1989.  Dr. Jones earned his Ph.D. in Computer Information Science from the University of Delaware in 1994.
 

Jacinth A. Maynard
Assistant Professor
Mathematics

Jacinth Maynard comes to Lock Haven University from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford where she was an Assistant Professor and the Director of the Mathematics Program from August 2003 to July 2008.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of the Virgin Islands in 1993 and her Masters degree in Applied Mathematics from Hampton University in 1995.  Dr. Maynard earned her Ph.D. in Mathematics from Central Michigan University in 2003. 
 

Michael D. Paulus
Associate Professor
Sociology, Anthropology and Social Work

Michael Paulus comes to Lock Haven University from Edinboro University of PA where he was an Associate Professor of Social Work from 1996-2008.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1982 from Regents College in Albany, NY and his Masters degree in Social Work from SUNY @ Buffalo in Buffalo, NY in 1988.  Dr. Paulus earned his Ph.D. in Social Work from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ in 1995. 
 

Angela L. Pile
Assistant Professor
Mathematics

Angela Pile comes to Lock Haven University from Bucknell University where she was a Visiting Assistant Professor from 2007-2008.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Concordia College in 2001.  Dr. Pile earned her Ph.D. in Mathematics from North Dakota State in 2008.

Curtis M. Grenoble
Assistant Professor
Physician Assistant Program

Curtis Grenoble comes to Lock Haven University from the DuBois Regional Medical Center where he was a Physician Assistant from May 2007 to June 2008.  He received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the Pennsylvania State University in 2003 and his Masters degree in Health Sciences (Physician Assistant Studies) from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in July 2006.
 

Priya M. Poehner
Assistant Professor
Elementary Education

Priya Poehner comes to Lock Haven University from the Pennsylvania State University where she was a Field Experience Supervisor from August 2007 to May 2008.  She received her BA degree in Elementary Education from Northern Kentucky University in 1998 and a M. Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from the Pennsylvania State University in 2002. 
 

Jonathan E. Stout
Assistant Professor
Special Education and Early Childhood Education

Jonathan Stout comes to Lock Haven University from Penn State University where he was an Assistant Professor of Special Education from 2004-2008.  He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education from Northern Arizona University in 1994 along with his Masters degree in Leadership in 1997.  Dr. Stout earned his Ph.D. in Special Education from Penn State University in 2004.
