Important Changes

 

Student E-Time Instructions

Ø Students must complete required paperwork BEFORE beginning employment
Ø Students must fill out a paper timesheet, sign it, and have his/her supervisor endorse the timesheet.
Ø A student working for more than one department must complete a timesheet for each department. 
Ø Students will enter their own time on a web-based program called E-Time at: https://etime.passhe.edu/lhup/
Ø E-Time instructions should be reviewed by each student employee before entering time. 
Ø The password configuration instructions mentioned in E-time instructions above should be completed as soon as possible.  This configuration only needs to be completed one time.
Ø After entering time in E-time, paper timesheets must be signed by the supervisor and returned to the timekeeper no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday at the end of a pay period.  
Ø  Students are reminded to use Eastern Daylight/Standard Time (i.e., 2:00 p.m.) rather than 24 hour time (i.e., 1400) when completing their time sheet.
Ø Students cannot work more than 5 consecutive hours without a 1/2 hour unpaid break.
Ø Students are only permitted to enter time for the current pay period.
Ø Students who do not enter their time in E-Time and do not have their timesheet submitted to the department timekeeper by the deadline, will not be paid
Students are responsible for ensuring that their hours are entered into E-time and a timesheet is returned to his/her timekeeper.
