No, it's not CSI! What
is Forensics? Often thought of
only applying to courts of law and evidence, contemporary forensics is the
art of public discussion which includes speech, debate, researched argument
and other forms of rhetoric. It seems obvious why it would have its roots in
law and courtrooms. Forensics is competitive speech and debate.
The Forensics Team attends tournaments where members compete in the different
areas of speech, interpretation, and debate events.
Achievements Objective: The Forensics Team will carry current success towards future growth.
Who can benefit? You can change the world. You had better be able to express yourself clearly and concisely, though. Forensics, the art of expressing ideas in an organized, professional manner, is an invaluable skill for almost any career path. Future business leaders, actors, writers, lawyers and any person who wants to make a serious impact within their world can benefit from the study and practice.
