PROCEDURES
Student will cold boot the computer.
Overhead
transparency of keyboard layout will be used while student identifies the
described keys on his or her keyboard including: caps lock, Ctrl and alt,
cursor movement keys, enter, Esc, function keys, numeric keypad, print screen,
shift, and typewriter keys.
Student will fill in the names of
the keyboard keys in their correct location.
Student
will match the keyboard keys with their correct description of function.
EVALUATION
Student
will correctly locate and name the keyboard keys on a diagram of the keyboard
layout.
Student
will successfully complete the worksheet matching the keyboard keys with their
functions.
TIMELINE
One
30-minute session to be followed with the introduction of typing software.
