Objectives:

Materials:

Computer with Internet
access and mouse
·
Disk containing a Word
document with Compound Words Worksheet (copy attached)
·
Printer
·
Pencil and highlighter
Procedures:
1. Students will turn the computer on, put the disk in,
and find the Word document on Compound Words.
2. Teacher will provide oral instructions for the
following.
3. Students will identify the compound words by typing
the symbol " * " in front of the compound word/s.
4. Students will print the worksheet.
5. Students will use the pencil to write their name and
the date in the blank.
6. Students will use to list of words and fill in the
blanks to make new compound words.
7. Students will access the Internet
8. Students will find a site or their choice and download
1-2 paragraphs from the site.
9. Students will highlight compound words from the printed
paragraphs.
Evaluation:

identified compound words on Compound Word Worksheet.

incomplete compound words to make new compound words by filling in blanks on
