Connect to the Internet

Apply keyboard knowledge to type the correct address in the URL

Access the correct Web site

Read lessons to decide the lesson of choice

Print the lesson of choice

MATERIALS

Computer with Internet access

Computer printer

Pencil/pen and highlighter

Handout: brief description of how to connect to the Internet

Copy of site address

PROCEDURES

Explain the proper way to log on to the Internet.

Student will connect to the Internet.

Student will type the following address in the URL to access

"Computer Lessons for Kids and Small Adults"

http://www2.magmacom.com/~dsleeth/kids/lessons

Student will read two lessons from the Site Table of Contents.

Student will print two copies of one lesson.

Student will highlight the address on the printed lesson.

EVALUATION

Student provides two copies of the chosen lesson. One will be for the class file and one for personal use.
