Professional Rescuer (PR), Oxygen Administration, First
Aid, and Waterfront Lifeguarding. It is designed

Education (NASPE) standards for accreditation.
Restrictions Upon Registration: Students must demonstrate
proficiency on a 500-yard swim based on the American Red
Cross (ARC) Level VI performance level using the front crawl
stroke, the sidestroke, and the breaststroke. The student may take this
course to meet the health and physical education aquatic
requirement if the prerequisites can be satisfied.
The course would also be open to nonphysical education
majors with the same stipulation and the permission of
the instructor.
