How can I get a list of the courses
that I've taken with the grades/my transcript?
This is known as a transcript or academic record. To request a transcript,
you may order through the National Student
Clearinghouse's Transcript Ordering process, stop by the Registrar's Office in Russell Hall 127 (or the Clearfield
Office) to obtain a
Transcript Request Form, or click here to print
a form. Another way to get this information is to log on the Student Only
Access site (using your student ID and PIN) and click on Academic Record.
How can I get proof of attendance
for my insurance company, my lender or for other purposes?
This is known as an enrollment verification or enrollment certification.

How do I change my major, my
advisor, or declare a major if I'm undeclared?
You can stop by the Registrar's Office in Russell Hall 127 (or the
Clearfield Office) to obtain a
form to process a major change or click
here to print a form. To change your advisor, you can

here for that form.
How do I know if I can get credit
for courses I want to take at another college or university?
Students planning to take courses at another college or university must complete
a Transfer Credit Approval Form available at the Registrar's Office in
Russell Hall 127 (or the Clearfield Office) or click here to obtain the
form.
Where do I get information about
registering for next semester or for summer classes?
Registration information is normally available in March for fall
registration, in October for spring registration, and in December for summer
registration. Click here to go to
the information.
How do I add or drop a class?
Drops and adds are done via Web-R. Click
here to go to the registration information page and then click on
Registration for Students (remember you need your student ID and PIN). If
a course is full or has prerequisites and you can't register it yourself, you
must go to the department chair of the course. Deadlines for registration
changes are included on the academic calendar.
How do I withdraw from the
University?
Students withdrawing from the University need to complete a withdrawal form
available in the Vice President for Student Affairs Office, 311 Sullivan Hall or
the main office at Clearfield. An exit interview is strongly encouraged. All
financial obligations to the University must be met at the time of the
withdrawal. Resident students must leave the campus within forty-eight hours
after withdrawing from all classes. Please pay attention to the withdrawal
dates on the academic calendar to avoid penalty.
How do I take a course pass/fail or
audit?
Only general education free electives may be taken on a pass/fail basis.
Pass/fail cards are available at the Registrar's Office in Russell Hall 127
(or the Clearfield Office). Signed cards must be submitted to the
Registrar's Office
(or the Clearfield Office) by the deadline
published on the academic calendar. Instructors are not notified when a
student uses the pass/fail option. To take a course for audit, you must
get approval from the Registrar's Office (or the Clearfield Office). Instructors will be
notified of the audit option and an 'AU' grade will be assigned if the student
meets the requirements. Courses taken on an audit basis are still charged
regular tuition and fees.
How and when do I apply for
graduation?
Just prior to the beginning of the final semester of enrollment, students will
be mailed an Application for Graduation. You must complete and return this
Application by the deadline to be included in the commencement ceremony and to
receive your diploma in a timely manner. The deadline to apply for May and
August graduation is February 1; the deadline to apply for December graduation
is September 21. Click here for

How do I know which courses meet the overlays, i.e. writing emphasis,
multicultural, information literacy, external experience?

How do I re-enroll after missing
one or more semesters?
You must request to resume your studies after missing one or more semesters.
Simply read the directions
and complete the form.
How can someone verify my
enrollment or my degree?
Enrollment and degree verifications are done through the National Student
Clearinghouse.
How do I see my transfer credits?
Simply access your information via the secure web site where you do your
registration activities. From the list on the left, select 'Transfer
Evaluation'.
How do I get a copy of my current
semester class schedule?
Simply access your information via the secure web site where you do your
registration activities. From the list on the left, select 'Student
Schedule' after setting the options to the correct session and year.
