Health Science, B.S.                                     

The four-year program leading to the Bachelor of Science in Health Science is designed to prepare graduates for entry into professional and graduate schools in a variety of allied health fields including athletic training, physical therapy, exercise physiology, biomechanics, occupational therapy, physician assistant, sports medicine and others.  The program includes 52 semester hours in general education, 68 sh in major area courses and in a professional track which the student selects from the following options:  (1) Athletic Training, (2) Pre-Professional, (3) Pre-Physical Therapy, (4) Pre-physician Assistant, (5) Community Health, (6) Physician Assistant (3+2), and (7) Physical Therapy (3+3).
