November Scheduled Downtime for eCampus
November 12 , 2009
On Thursday, November 19th the eCollege system will be unavailable from approximately 3:00 am to 6:00 am EST. This downtime has been scheduled so that the eCollege team of engineers can continue to improve the reliability and scalability of the online course delivery system.
A message will be posted on the login page of our campus Wednesday evening notifying all users of this downtime.
October Scheduled Downtime for eCampus

On Wednesday, October 28th the eCollege system will be unavailable from approximately 4:00 am to 6:00 am EST. This downtime has been scheduled so that the eCollege team of engineers can continue to improve the reliability and scalability of the online course delivery system.
A message will be posted on the login page of our campus Tuesday evening notifying all users of this downtime.
ADA Compliance
May 15 , 2009
The office of Academic Technology completed a policy and support structure to be used in the design of content for online/distance courses to make them compliant with section 508 of the Americans Disability Act (ADA 508). At the June 2008 retreat the State System Distance Education Dean/Directors the following target dates were proposed to bring courses into compliance:
Fall 2011 for new courses
Spring 2012 for existing courses
Additional announcements will be provided at Meet and Discuss and UCC meetings.
New eCampus Login Step
March 12, 2009
eCollege has enabled a secure login for our eCampus at http://www.lhup.net. This Secure Socket Layer (SSL) will encrypt your login information as it is passed from your browser to the servers at eCollege, ensuring the security of the login process.
When you go to http://www.lhup.net you will now notice that the login box is no longer at the top left of that welcome page. It will now be necessary for you to click the “Login” link at the top of the page. After clicking on “Login” you will notice that the URL changes from http to https. You will then log in at the center of the page.
Toll-free Numbers Being Discontinued
November 13, 2008
Due to excessive costs, the University will discontinue service to the eCampus toll-free numbers by December 31, 2008.
Please be advised that for the eCampus the two numbers are:
877-313-4931 - eCollege technical support helpdesk
877-268-4688 - eCampus local office
The new number for eCollege helpdesk after January 1, 2009 will be: 570-484-3300.
For the local eCampus office, the number will be: 570-484-2404.
