NEW Desire2Learn Technical Support Number!
August 1, 2012

Lock Haven University is now using Desire2Learn's own helpdesk. Technical support can be obtained 24 hours per day, 7 days per week by calling 1-877-325-7778 (toll free) or emailing helpdesk@desire2learn.com. This number replaces the old "Perceptis" number (which ended in 6231) as of August 1, 2012.

 

Desire2Learn Upgrade Windows

The Saturday of Fall and Spring Commencement will be used for D2L upgrade windows.

 

Desire2Learn Maintenance Windows
Ongoing

There will be a planned D2L maintenance window the 2nd Sunday of every month from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. EST.

 

ADA Compliance
May 15 , 2009

The office of Academic Technology completed a policy and support structure to be used in the design of content for online/distance courses to make them compliant with section 508 of the Americans Disability Act (ADA 508). At the June 2008 retreat the State System Distance Education Dean/Directors the following target dates were proposed to bring courses into compliance:

Fall 2011 for new courses
Spring 2012 for existing courses

Additional announcements will be provided at Meet and Discuss and UCC meetings.
