Desire2Learn Scheduled Downtime
November 15, 2010

Desire2Learn will be upgrading our course management system from 9.0 to 9.1 on Saturday, December 18, 2010 beginning at 12:01 AM. The upgrade will be complete and the system will be operating as usual no later than 8 AM on Saturday. This upgrade has already been tested in our test environment without issue. End users will see no change in the look and feel of their courses. Again, our D2L system will experience a planned downtime on Saturday, December 18, 2010 from 12:01 AM to 8:00 AM.

On Friday, November 19th the eCollege system will be unavailable from approximately 3:00 am to 6:00 am EST. This downtime has been scheduled so that the eCollege team of engineers can continue to improve the reliability and scalability of our online course delivery system.

October eCollege Maintenance
October 3, 2010

The eCollege IT Team in coordination with Microsoft support teams have identified the need to take an emergency maintenance event on Sunday, October 3, 2010 from 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM Eastern time. During this event their teams will be implementing recommended patching due to a security vulnerability in the MS server platform. We realize this is short notice and we appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure the best possible experience for end users.

June 22, 2010

Our eCollege system will be down for scheduled maintainence on Sunday, July 4, 2010, from 2 a.m. until approximately 2 p.m.

April 12, 2010

On Thursday, April 15th, the eCollege system will be unavailable from approximately 3:00 am to 6:00 am EST. This downtime has been scheduled so that the eCollege team of engineers can continue to improve the reliability and scalability of the online course delivery system.

A message will be posted on the login page of our campus Wednesday evening notifying all users of this downtime.

This scheduled maintenance will include an update to our Help Desk ticketing system. During the hours of the downtime, emails to the Help Desk will be queued until the maintenance event has completed. The Help Desk phone system will remain available during this time.

February Scheduled Downtime for eCampus
February 3 , 2010

On Tuesday, February 9th the eCollege system will be unavailable from approximately 3:00 am to 6:00 am EST. This downtime has been scheduled so that the eCollege team of engineers can continue to improve the reliability and scalability of the online course delivery system. During this downtime the Helpdesk will not be available by email and chat. Users will be able to contact the Helpdesk by phone.
