Tutor Responsibilities

Peer tutors are needed for the selected 100 and 200 level courses for Fall 2007 Responsibilities include tutoring small groups on a weekly basis. An overall GPA of 2.5 is required with an “A” or “B” in the course. This is a great opportunity and job enhancer. Please apply at room 137 Russell Hall and see Dr. Pamela Czapla, Interim Director, Tutorial Center or email her at pczapla@lhup.edu. As a reminder (for those who work at another service) you can only work up to a total of 20 hours per week under campus employment. A job description, letter of recommendation form, and Peer Tutor Application Form are located on the Career Services web page under On-Campus/Local Employment Opportunities for Students. You can print out the forms but you must bring them to Pamela Czapla, Director, 137 Russell Hall. Application forms are also available outside Dr. Czapla’s office door.
