Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania

Class of 2017

Housing

Lock Haven University currently has five traditional residence halls, one suite style residence hall and one apartment complex (Campus Village) that house over 1700 students. Students who live on campus have the option of choosing their roommate, but both parties must submit the request.

Students who live on campus have the option of choosing their roommate, but both parties must submit the request. If students do not have a person to room with, one service that the Student Life/Housing Office provides is automated housing placement for new students.

The housing office will send out a roommate compatibility form along with a return    envelope and the “what to bring to college” brochure. Please make sure you return your compatibility form no later than July 1, 2013, as housing assignments are made during the month of July. Your housing assignment will be mailed to you the second week of August.

In addition, you should have received a health history form to be filled out by your    physician.  The Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommends that all college age students living in a residence hall get the meningitis vaccine.  Health insurance is available and information will be sent during the summer.

Meal plan information will be sent to all new students in the summer. There will be a brochure explaining the different plans and what “flex” is all about.

Be sure to bring your specific questions to the summer orientation experience.
