March · March 15th: Have your FASFA complete. · Make sure to register for Freshmen Orientation.
April · Notify each college that has accepted you that you will not be attending, so that your spot can be freed up for another student. May · Information about your email account, the math placement test and new student course selection will be mailed. The Registrar’s Office will begin to construct new student schedules. Students will have an opportunity to make changes during the first week of classes. Changes are not possible before the start of the semester. · If you take any AP Exams, make sure your AP score report is sent to Lock Haven University · Study hard for final exams. Most admission offers are contingent on your final grades. · Thank your counselor, teachers, employers and anyone else who wrote letters of recommendation for you or helped with your college applications.
June · Have your counselor send your final transcript to the Office of Admissions at Lock Haven University. · If you plan to compete in Division I or Division II college sports, have your counselor send your final transcript to the NCAA Eligibility Center. · Orientation sessions for new students will take place on main campus. Please note: Class schedules which you may receive at orientation are not yet finalized. Changes to schedules are not possible at this time. · Celebrate your High School Graduation!
July · Fall semester bills will be mailed to the student this month. Instructions about accessing the online student information system will be mailed to the student’s home address.
August · Housing assignments will be provided either the first or second week of the month.
August 25 · New students move into residence halls.
August 27 · Classes begin! |
