Receptionist

Hi! I am the receptionist in the Office of Admissions at Lock Haven University. I joined the office in November 2006 as a temporary support staff member processing applications and then was hired on as a full time receptionist in February 2007. I am proud to be a part of the Admissions Team here at Lock Haven University.

I was born and raised in Curwensville, PA and graduated from Curwensville Area High School. Currently, my husband Donald and I live in Flemington (a small borough just outside of Lock Haven) where I serve on Borough Council. We have one son, Matthew, who served in the United States Marine Corps. We also have a 4 pound Chihuahua/Toy Fox Terrier named Little Buck.

I received my Associate’s Degree from Newport Business Institute, completing my internship in the Student Financial Services department here at Lock Haven University. I have lived in the Lock Haven area since 1983 and never really knew what Lock Haven University had to offer until doing my internship on campus. Working here in the admissions office has made me want to continue my education. I am currently taking classes and working towards my Bachelor’s degree majoring in Accounting and Business Administration.
