Interim Associate Director of Admissions

Thank you for taking a minute to check out everything we have to offer at Lock Haven University. My name is Michael Hall, and I am the Interim Associate Director of Admissions here at The Haven. I work with students from central Pennsylvania, and travel in that area extensively throughout the fall visiting high schools and attending college fairs. I’ve been working at LHU since August 2007, and meeting with students and their families is the most enjoyable part of my job. If you attend a school in my region or plan on visiting for an open house program, I hope to meet you.

I graduated from LHU in 2007 with a B.S. in Recreation Management. I’m a 2002 graduate of Philipsburg-Osceola High School, and I chose to attend LHU because it was small (but not too small) and offered the program I was looking for. I attended an open house program with my parents, and I immediately knew that LHU was the right school for me. Visiting the campus really is the best way to learn whether or not you like the university, and I strongly encourage you to book a visit.

On a personal note, my wife and I are big country music fans. We were fortunate to attend some great concerts this summer. Sugarland, Lady Antebellum, Luke Bryan, Jake Owen, Danny Gokey, Little Big Town, and Justin Moore were some of our favorites. I also enjoy baseball games, good movies, great food, and long walks on the beach (seriously, I like the beach).
