Hello! Thank you for taking the time to visit the Lock Haven University Admissions website. I am Meisha McDermit, Assistant Director of the Admissions Office and the Transfer Coordinator.
I was born and raised in the Lock Haven area and graduated from Bald Eagle-Nittany High School in 1998. In 2002, I received my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a Concentration in Accounting from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Currently, I live right here in Lock Haven with my husband (who is an Alumna of LHU!!), my daughter and son. We love everything about our central PA home…from enjoying the outdoors to town festivities year round!
I am so honored to work for Lock Haven University…it is a truly wonderful college with professors and staff members who care about our students and their futures. My responsibilities include coordinating the transfer admission program, attending high school and college fairs, student application review, and conducting private/small group interviews and presentations.
