My recruiting territory includes Centre, Clinton and Lycoming counties in Pennsylvania. Throughout the fall, I spend several days visiting high schools and attending college fairs in these counties. If you are a high school student in my territory, I would love to have the opportunity to meet you. Please check with your guidance office to see when I may be visiting your high school.

In addition to visiting high schools and attending college fairs, I am responsible for managing the counseling staff, reviewing freshman applications, coordinating admissions advertising/ marketing, facilitating the student search project and coordinating counselor travel schedules. I am also responsible for maintaining the the LHU Admissions website, so please email me with your comments or suggestions.

A little about me...

I have been working as a counselor in the Admissions Office for more than 12 years. I am not only an employee of The Haven but also a very proud alumna. I began working in the Office of Admissions as an Admissions Counselor shortly after I graduated from LHU in 1996 and have enjoyed working here as much as I enjoyed being a student. On the personal side, my husband, Dave, and I are the proud parents of two children, Samuel Corey (Sammy) and Olivia Grace (Livvy), as well as two cats, Peanut and Tigger.

I spent five years studying at The Haven where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree (B.S. Ed.) in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Spanish. While a student, I was able to participate in some of the many clubs and organizations that LHU has to offer, including Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity, Student PSEA, and the Spanish Club.

During the fall semester of 1993, I had the exciting opportunity of participating in LHU's renowned study abroad program. I spent a semester studying at La Universidad de las Americas (UDLA) in Puebla, Mexico. LHU provides one of the best study abroad programs in the country, offering more than 30 programs on 6 continents. Whether you are interested in learning a foreign language or simply want to experience a different culture, Lock Haven University has a program for you.

Originally from Elk County, Pennsylvania, I graduated from Ridgway Area High School (go Elkers!) in 1991. With a student population of 4,600, Lock Haven University was an easy transition for me. Small class sizes, low student-to-faculty ratio, a beautiful campus and a safe community... Lock Haven University had everything that I was looking for in a college.
