Do you have online graduate programs?
Yes we do! We have three comprehensive online programs that make it convenient to do anywhere, anytime. These programs are:
Master of Education – Teaching and Learning
Master of Education – Alternative Education
Master of Liberal Arts (MLA)
When can I start?
You can start the MLA program and either M.Ed. program any semester (fall, spring or summer). The Master of Health – Physician Assistant program starts in the third week in May of each year.
What about transfer credits?
- Nine hours of graduate credit may be transferred into the M.Ed. degree programs
- Six hours of graduate credit may be transferred into the MLA degree program
- Not available to Physician Assistant applicants
Do the graduate programs at LHU allow me to get teacher certification, while earning my Master’s degree?
No, unfortunately it will not. However, the M.Ed. programs will prepare you for the National Board Certification exam.
Do I have to have my teacher certification in order to be admitted into one of the M.Ed. programs?
No.

Can I receive Act 48 credits through the M.Ed. courses?
Yes.
Can any undergraduate major apply to the M.Ed. and MLA programs?
Yes.
Are there any times that you will physically have to come to campus for the M.Ed. and MLA programs?
No, these programs are entirely online, meaning that there are no face-to-face class meetings nor are there scheduled online meeting times. The programs are designed so that they can be completed anywhere, anytime.
