How much does it cost to attend Lock Haven University?

Do you offer physical or learning disability services?

Lock Haven University encourages academically qualified students with disabilities to take advantage of its educational programs. What is the housing situation at Lock Haven University?

The university guarantees on-campus housing for freshmen year. We offer a variety of campus living units. There are seven (7) traditional style residence halls (usually 2 students per room) and one (1) apartment style living unit. There is also an abundance of off-campus housing, including Evergreen Commons, a foundation-owned off-campus apartment complex that is just for LHU students.

Can my son or daughter have a car on campus?

Students are required to have 48 credit hours before they are able to receive an on-campus parking permit. Students who have extenuating circumstances may contact the Law Enforcement Office for additional information.

How safe is Lock Haven University and what security precautions do you offer students?

Keeping your son or daughter safe is a top priority to Lock Haven University. The campus police department consists of 8 full-time police officers including a safety officer, a criminal investigator and training officer/supervisor, one security officer, one full-time secretary, and approximately six student dispatchers. Our officers are on duty, on campus, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. ID cards are required to enter all of our residence halls, and the campus is well-lit during the evening and night-time hours.
