Lock Haven University offers an excellent and affordable education characterized by a strong foundation in the liberal arts and sciences for all students, majors in the arts and sciences, and a special emphasis on professional programs. Students may go as early as your sophomore year or as late as your senior year. You will live in a residence hall at our partner universities or with a host family and take courses that fulfill general education requirements or fulfill requirements for major and minor courses of study.

Education majors

• Student teach abroad through LHU’s international partnerships.
• PreK -4/Early Childhood, Middle/Elementary 4-8, and Secondary Education can student teach at four program sites: Mexico, Spain, Croatia, and Ireland.
