Undergraduate Open House (Main Campus Only)

The Open House program provides an opportunity to tour the campus, meet LHU students, faculty from your major, and representatives from Financial Aid, Admissions, Honors, ROTC, Student Life and more. Enjoy a complimentary lunch before heading home.

Advanced registration is strongly preferred.

Open House Programs will be offered on the following days:

April 10, 2010

Events for the Day Include:

9:00 Registration/Check-in

9:00 Meet & Greet*
Student Recreation Center

An opportunity to informally meet with faculty regarding academic programs prior to the formal Academic Overview session. Staff representatives will also be available to talk about admission, study abroad, community service, ROTC, clubs/activities and much more.

9:00 Financial Aid Session*
Student Recreation Center

Worried that the financial aid process may be overwhleming? Not sure where to begin? Attend this session to hear an overview of the financial aid process.

9:00 Honors Information Session*
Student Recreation Center

Meet with university honors students to learn more about this academically challenging and rewarding program.

9:25 Question & Answer Session

Ask our current students your burning questions...What is there to do on campus? Are classes harder than you thought they might be? Do you feel safe on campus? This is the perfect time to discover why our students chose to spend their college years at The Haven.

10:30 Dismissal to Academic Overview with Faculty Representatives

A list of majors will be enclosed in the packet received at registration. Students will have the option of selecting which 45 minute academic presentation they would like to attend.

11:30 Tour of Campus

Student-led tours will include academic buildings, the student recreation center, union building, library, residence hall, dining hall and more.
