HISTORY

AFSCME, Local 2360 officially began a local on August 22, 1973.   Local 2360 is part of AFSCME District Council 86 in New Columbia, Pennsylvania.

Council 86 encompasses the North Central part of the state to include Clinton, Columbia, Huntingdon, Juniata, Lycoming, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland, Snyder, Sullivan, Tioga, and Union, Counties.  Our home office is located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania Council 13.

Local 2360's membership includes clerical, custodial, and maintenance/trades from Lock Haven University; as well as clerical employees from the Department of Welfare, Labor and Industry, DER, Fish and Game, State Police Barracks and Department of Health.
