The 2011 Christmas party will be held at Haywood's on the Green. The date will be Saturday, December 10, 2011. Cost per person will remain $20, with the same arrangement for the menu, DJ, and gifts as last year. Invitations were mailed on November 11, 2011. Be sure to RSVP to Jan by December 2!
2011 turkey coupons were mailed out in early November along with the fall newsletter. Be sure to sign your coupon, and pick up your turkey at Scot's-Lo-Cost (now Weis) in Mill Hall between November 14 - 23, 2011!
The 2011 Knoebel's Grove picnic is being planned for Saturday, June 18, 2011.

Local 2360 Treasurer, Jan Bottorf, renames Council 13's Public Employee Press! The publication's new name will be The Council 13 Connection.
Recent elections: David Fillman was re-elected as Executive Director of Council 13 at the 38th Annual Council 13 convention in April 2010. At the same convention, Local 2360 member Cheryl Reynolds was re-elected as a Council 13 Trustee. Ms. Reynolds was also re-elected as District Council 86 Secretary at the May 15 Delegate Assembly.

The LHU Facilities Department with Student Involvement in conjunction with America Recycling Day hosted a one-day recycling event for all faculty, staff and students on Saturday, November 14, 2009. Special thanks to Local 2360 member Colleen Meyer for her efforts in helping to make the event a huge success!
