ALTERNATE WORKLOAD LEAVE (AWL) COMMITTEE

Composition

Two of the five faculty members will be elected from the College of Arts & Sciences, two from the College of Education & Human Services, and one as a member at large.  The Deans of both Colleges shall also serve as members of this Committee.  All members will be elected for a 2 year term.

Some responsibilities of the AWL Committee:

• to review 2 types of faculty applications: those supporting LHU's international mission and those supporting more general meritorious projects.
• To select from these applications those faculty the committee believes should receive the alternative workload leave.
