NOMINATIONS AND ELECTIONS COMMITTEE
The Nominations and Elections Committee solicits
nominations for committee vacancies and conducts all elections to fill
committee vacancies.
COMPOSITION OF COMMITTEE
The Nominations and Elections Committee shall
consist of five (5) members with two-year terms. Three members shall be
elected in odd numbered years and two members shall be elected in even
numbered years. All members of APSCUF in good standing are eligible for the
Committee.
The charge of the Nominations and
Elections Committee includes:
- solicit nominations for committee vacancies
- prepare ballots for elections
- conduct all elections
- count ballots for elections
- announce the winners of all elections
- conduct the voting procedure to ratify a
strike or contract
