Faculty Issues Committee

The Faculty Issues Committee meets more frequently during contract negotiation years.  In non-contract negotiation years, the Faculty Issues Committee meets as necessary to discuss concerns brought by faculty to be discussed by the Executive Council at Local Meet and Discuss.

The charge of the Faculty Issues Committee:

• Prepare proposals and submit to the Statewide Negotiations Committee
• Prepare proposals to be negotiated for its group and submit them to its negotiating team
• Submit agenda items for Meet and Discuss sessions and to assist the Meet and Discuss team by serving as a source of information on matters of faculty concern

The Chair is elected by and from the membership in April of odd-numbered years.
