First Year Experience Committee

The FYE Committee meets regularly throughout the year. 

The charge of the FYE Committee:

  • determine the academic and extracurricular components of the freshman's experience necessary for a successful transition from high school to college
  • determine what extent these components are present at LHU
  • recommend steps necessary to develop an integrated set of policies and programs leading to a successful First Year Experience for all freshman at LHU
  • identify what additional resources are necessary to ensure that these programs and policies are implemented
