Presidential Evaluation Committee
The Presidential Evaluation Committee meets early in the Fall semester to elect a chair, and develop and/or revise the evaluation questionnaire, then meet as necessary throughout the fall to follow up on steps as necessary. Members also attend the two faculty meetings where the reports are read.
The responsibilities of the Presidential Evaluation Committee:
- develop and revise evaluation questionnaire
- forward copy of instrument to President, with revisions indicated
- distribute questionnaire by October 1 to faculty
- faculty to respond by October 15, with written comments sent to APSCUF Office Manager to re-type
- write a report based on results and comments and read at faculty meeting in November for acceptance
- make any revisions required and/or requested from faculty meeting
- send report, re-typed comments and raw data (questionnaires) to APSCUF Chapter President to deliver to University President
- University President to respond before commencement of Spring semester
- read University President's response at faculty meeting in January
- make any revisions required and/or requested from faculty meeting
- send final report to APSCUF Chapter President, who signs and presents this (along with comments and raw data) to the Council of Trustees at a special meeting
- send two copies of the final report to the APSCUF Office
