The Scholarship Committee should meet in the fall to review the application and make any changes necessary or requested. The main meeting(s) occur in early Spring to review the applications and select recipients.
The charge of the Scholarship Committee:
- Draft criteria, review applications and select recipient(s), and present award for the two (2) annual $500 APSCUF Scholarships sponsored by State and Local APSCUF.
- Notify State APSCUF of the recipient name(s) and provide a short biography. Provide this information to the Administrative Assistant for Fiscal Affairs, Associate Director for Communications, and Associate Director for Member Service.
A list of applicants should be obtained from Bryan Cygan at the end of Fall semester. Application deadlines should be set so that review and determinations can be made and given to Kate Rounsley no later than March 23 so the recipients' names can be placed in the convocation program.
