Tenure Committee - Overview

The Tenure Committee meets a few times annually.  First to elect a chair and review and/or revise the letter to potential applicants, then to review faculty tenure applications and submit their recommendations to the President.  The busiest times are the review and recommendation periods, held in October and March.

Charge of the Tenure Committee:

The committee is charged with the responsibility of reviewing all tenure applications and recommendations.  By April 1 (November 1 for faculty members with January anniversary dates) the tenure committee submits its recommendations (positive or negative), together with the data upon which these recommendations are based, to the President
