The Fine Arts Society (FAS)
FAS is a student operated association of the Art Department. We serve as the liason between the Department and the students. The FAS committee organizes art related activities for both art majors and non-majors, including field trips, screenings, workshops, campus art projects, public art fairs, and community service.

The Fine Arts Society meets at 12:30pm in the Sloan Hall Gallery on Tuesdays. Reserve your seat on the FAS bus to Washington DC scheduled for March 29, 2008. See Professor Bronner to submit your $43, room 333 Sloan Hall.

The Fine Arts Society organizes and funds the visiting artist lectures and art exhibitions held in the Sloan Fine Arts Center. Students are able to show their work in our gallery for their Senior Thesis exhibition as well as part of our annual juried student exhibition.

FAS organizes field trips to Washington D.C., Philadelphia, New York City as well as other cities to see art exhibitions. FAS normally takes two major trips a year with one smaller trip.
