Processes for Assessing Program Student Learning Outcomes
Overview
Every academic program at LHU has developed an assessment plan that identifies key program student learning outcomes (PSLOs), measures, goals, and a time table for conducting assessments. In turn, PSLO data and actions taken to improve student learning form an integral part of the Annual Program Reports due each fall.
Each fall, the Academic Affairs Assessment Council reviews the PSLO assessment reports on TracDat and provides feedback to the Deans and Chairs of each program. (see Processes for Program Learning Assessment). The TracDat reports for each program are also posted to the assessment Website.
Important Deadlines
Program Student Learning Outcome Data and Reports for the previous AY are due by August 1st.
