is designed especially for high school students who are
interested in the fields of Health Science and
Athletic Training. This camp opens the door for students just entering into
athletic training, while allowing experienced student athletic trainers to
develop new, more advanced skills and techniques. These skills can quickly
be applied in the training rooms of their own high schools.
A wide range of subject matter will be
covered throughout the course and will include
advanced taping techniques, injury recognition,
rehabilitation, and emergency care. We offer
informative lectures, video presentations, and
hands-on learning through various laboratory
experiences. The course curriculum will be delivered
primarily by Lock Haven University's certified
athletic training staff. You may also see instruction
from affiliated certified athletic trainers, LHU
athletic training students, and our team physician and
board certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Jack Bailey.
The Wounded Eagle Athletic Training Camp is a great opportunity to polish
old skills, develop new techniques, and make new friends. The LHU athletic training staff has dedicated themselves to offering each student the most
informative and rewarding athletic training experience possible.
