July 27-31 |
| The best camp to attend if you want
position specific training, whether you are a middle, outside, or
right-side hitter. This camp has been lengthend by popular request
to normal length to run in conjunction with our setters camp.
Hitters will receive detailed instruction in proper arm swing
mechanics, approach footwork and efficient jumping technique. They
will learn pass and attack movement patterns as well as block and
transition attacks that are specific to their position. Shot
selection, hitting around and tooling the block, and how to hit with
velocity will also be covered. Hitters will be combined with the
setters camp after the second day so that they can have a more
realistic experience in learning to adjust to sets. |
 |
July 27-31 |
| The Setters Camp is an intense week
of setter-specific training for those athletes who have committed
themselves to becoming the best setters that they can be. Each
athlete will learn detailed hand-to-ball setting technique and
correct movement patterns as well as set tempo, location, and set
adjustments. Each setter will learn the key ideas behind
running an effective offense and on-court decision-making. This camp
is a must for every setter.
|
 |
July 27-31 |
| Campers will receive detailed
instruction in every skill of the game, based on the same techniques
and learning strategies which have proven successful in building so
many championship teams here at Lock Haven University. They'll learn
the key ideas behind passing, serving, setting, digging, hitting,
and blocking, which will enable them to raise their level of play in
each skill. Individual attention will be maximized to foster an
accelerated learning environment. There will be an ideal mix of
technical instruction and playing time. This is the best camp to
attend for development in all aspects of the game. |
 |
August 3-7 |
| Coaches, bring your team and
experience the advantages of team training and competition prior to
the start of your own season. For your team, we offer an LHU-trained
coach and the same techniques and training methods that have been so
successful in developing so many championship teams here at Lock
Haven University. For you as a coach, we
offer a complete coaches clinic covering every aspect of the game:
Setter Training, Individual Skill Training, Pass To Side Out Attack,
Dig To Transition Attack, Serving Tactics, Quick Middle Attack,
Combination Attack From Free Ball, Defensive Systems of Play,
Blocking, and Team Building Strategies.
The first camp sessions will be devoted totally to
team training. We will cover all skills in the team setting and then
we will provide a team tournament format and plenty of competition
for everyone.
