The Lock Haven University Basketball Camps are designed to teach young basketball players fundamental skills that aid in future athletic development. Our primary goal is to instill a balance between enjoyment of the game and the importance of acquiring fundamental skills. With a camper to staff ratio of 8:1, we offer all campers the individualized attention they deserve and need.

The 2007-08 season was Jennifer Smith's first season as the head coach for LHU, after most recently serving as head coach for Goldey-Beacom College for two seasons.

Smith is no stranger to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC), having enjoyed a standout basketball career at Millersville University.

In just two seasons with Goldey-Beacom, Smith was able to turn the program around leading them to the most wins in school history during the 2006-07 season. The team went 18-11 overall and 14-8 in conference play. From the 2005-06 to 2006-07 seasons she guided the Goldey-Beacom Lightning to the third-most improved overall record in all of Division II women's basketball. From 2002-04, Smith served as an assistant coach with her alma mater Millersville.

As a player for the Lady Marauders, Smith was a four-year varsity letter winner and holds school records for most games played and most three-pointers made in a game.

Lady Eagle Assistant Coach Jocelyn Duke, several Lady Eagle players, and other talented coaches and instructors will be in attendance to assist in skill development.

These Day Camps are geared towards teaching girls fundamental basketball skills while allowing them to experience fun and competitive basketball play under the supervision of accomplished basketball personalities. They will participate in drills, 5v5 games, competitions, and daily demonstrations.

All campers will receive a CAMP T-SHIRT, and a CAMPER'S MANUAL to improve skills!

Please bring your own lunch and drink
to camp each day!!

Fee: $15 per day
This program is available for both weeks of camp. Participating campers will receive additional instruction on any aspect of the game they are looking to focus
and improve upon. Also available to assist families
who need a more convenient pick-up time.
