2011 BIG MAN Clinic The Lock Haven Football Staff would like to invite you to our BIG MAN CLINIC for offensive and defensive linemen. As all coaches know, the game of football is won in the trenches. Our staff wants to instruct your linemen on techniques and drills that will give them the edge in the games for the upcoming season. The clinic will be a one day session on July 9 in conjunction with our passing clinic. The day will be broken up into three sessions: offensive, defensive, and a combined session. The cost for individual linemen is $15, but a team can bring as many linemen as they want for $100. During the day the players will have opportunity to eat and rest between sessions. Below is all the information on the clinic. Please review it and fill in the entry form below. Clinic Cost:
Individual or Team (6 or more players): Registration of $15/$100 and application is due June 30, 2011. Any cancellations of a team after this date will result in a $50 fee.
Individual/Team registration can be handled during the Saturday morning check-in ONLY if arrangements are made with Coach Szucs prior to arrival. Remember all check-ins will be done at the Foundation Fields from 9am to 10am.
What to Bring:
Team jerseys or practice jerseys
Helmets
Grass cleats (non-metal)
Medical forms/parental consent/waiver forms
Balance of money owed
Money for concessions
Concessions:
Meals: Concessions will be available all day. Foods will range from pizza, subs, and hot dogs to candy and chips, along with drinks.
Clothing: T-shirts for the Big Man Clinic and the Passing Clinic will be available for puchase. Coaches can pre-order your shirts with the entry form to guarantee your size. Clinic t-shirts will cost $10 for all sizes except XXXL, which will cost $12.
Lodging:
Since the clinic is a one day clinic, there will be no use of our residence halls for those with a great distance to travel. However, we have contacted local hotels and motels and they will be offering discounted prices for teams to stay. These businesses are:
