Stevenson Library

(George B. Stevenson, alumnus '06, state senator, trustee) 

The library, completed in 1969, makes a wide range of library services available to
the campus community
. The four-story structure contains open book stacks, individual
study carrels and alcove study areas, an automated catalog and circulation system,
a microcomputer laboratory, online data bases, periodicals, and also microfilm and microfiche collections.

  • Nearly 352,000 volumes, over 1,500 periodicals, and special collections
  • Interlibrary loan service
  • Computer lab
  • A preview room for films and videos
  • Listening rooms for records and tapes
  • Children's library and other resources for education majors
