Four (4) to six
(6) outgoing and personable people needed to administer
surveys at the 2009 Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts (http://www.arts-festival.com/)
in State College, PA. It would be important to be able to work
2 - 3 days between Thursday, July 9th and Saturday, July 11th,
for a period of 4 - 8 hours each time. You would get paid
$8.00/hour. Our intent is to collect approximately 1000 surveys
between the three (3) days during the hours of 10.00 am and 8.00
pm. In addition to the cash payment, you would receive a 2009
Arts Festival T-shirt. Please contact Julie Lammel at

responsibilities.

with the statistical package SPSS (available on student lab
computers at LHU) to enter the data from the Arts Festival

Student worker needed for the fall ’09 semester and spring ’10
semester. Searching for a dependable student worker who
knows and appreciates the direction the music area is moving in,
namely the promotion of the music education program and the “All
Steinway School.” Assistant duties in the classroom will include
basic supervision of my Intro to Music class, the taking of the
roll, the grading of multiple choice tests, etc. Office
responsibilities revolve mainly about the advancement of the music
education program, necessitating good typing skills and an affinity
for organization. My student worker may also be asked to deliver
articles to other offices in the building or to other building on
campus., and to take and place phone calls if I am out of the
office. Hours are flexible except I will need a
student worker each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11:15-12:05
to assist with classroom responsibilities. Twenty hours per work
will be expected.
