General Information

This fair is open to ALL teacher candidates from all colleges/universities.

*PLEASE NOTE:  This year you have the option of being in the open fair area from 9 - 4 OR setting up interviews from 9 - 10 and conducting those interviews in a separate area from 10 - 4.  You may also purchase additional tables in both areas.    Please indicate your preference on the registration form. 

The Central PA Fall Teacher Job Fair has been held for 8 years with an average of
300 - 350 candidates.

Registration, Set-Up & Continental Breakfast: 7:00 am - 9:00 am
Fair Hours: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (includes lunch)

PAYMENT NOTICE:  Checks must be payable to LHUF - Career Services.  Checks made out incorrectly will be returned.  We are unable to accept credit cards.

Location & Accommodations

The Alumni Hall, Hetzel Union Building (HUB)) is located on the University Park Campus (see HUB in section G5 on the map at:  http://www.geog.psu.edu/sites/default/files/extended_color.pdf).  It is accessible by all major highways; 90 miles from Harrisburg; 125 miles from Pittsburgh; 200 miles from Philadelphia and the Washington DC areas.

The University Park Airport in State College, located approximately 5 miles from the Alumni Hall, Hetzel Union Building (HUB), is serviced by Delta, Northwest Airlines, United and USAirways.

A list of accomodations in the area may be found at www.visitpennstate.org.  Three hotels within walking distance of the event are: Nittany Lion Inn, Days Inn and Atherton Hotel.

It is highly recommended that you ship your materials in advace.  Packages should arrive between October 17th and October 24th and should be addressd to:

Refunds
Any employer who cancels on or before October 11, 2010 will receive a 75% refund of the registration fee. No refunds will be issued after October 11^th.
