To remove your existing antivirus software perform the following steps:

1.  Click the Start button and select Control Panel.

 

2.   Click on the Uninstall a program option under the Programs section of Control Panel.




3.   Select the antivirus software from the list in the middle section of the window shown below then click the Uninstall/Change button at the top of the window and follow the uninstall process for your software.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4.   After you uninstall your antivirus software you may have to reboot your computer.  Immediately after you uninstall your AV software and reboot make sure you install McAfee AV software so your computer is not vulnerable to virus activity
