To configure automatic updates on a Windows 2000 system perform the following steps:

1.  Click the Start button --> Settings --> Control Panel.

2.  Double click on the Automatic Updates icon in the control panel window.

3.  Click on the option for Automatic (recommended) and select a time when your computer will look for updates.




4.  Click on the OK button.
