Lock Haven University is proud to announce its fourth annual Celebration of Scholarship, April 21, 2010.

The Celebration of Scholarship showcases academic research and artistic accomplishments by the University's students and faculty. In particular, the Celebration demonstrates the impressive results of the University's commitment to hands-on learning and student engagement in both academic and professional contexts. Lock Haven students graduate with impressive real-world skills in their chosen fields.

The University's Celebration of Scholarship features an impressive number presentations from dozens of faculty and hundreds of students.  These included:

  • Presentations of academic and professional research in a wide variety of disciplines such as education, health, recreation, natural sciences, psychology,  technology, mathematics, social work, business, history, media, and communication.
     
  • Performances in music, dance, theatre, poetry, and speech.
     
  • Exhibits of painting, drawing, sculpture, and animation.
