The course presents an overview of the philosophy and practice of analytical chemistry. The tools and instrumentation, which are used in solving analytical chemistry problems, are presented in semi-theoretical fashion, but are not applied practically to any great extent. Extensive lab experimentation is conducted in gravimetric and volumetric analysis.  Prerequisite: CHEM121.
