An integrated teacher preparation course which centers on the teaching of the student's major field. This includes teaching methods and field experiences, reading instruction, and audio visual materials preparation and usage. Students take part in pre-student teaching experiences on campus and in public schools which involve observation, tutoring, microteaching and other types of participation in actual learning situations. Uses videotaping so students and their instructors may view learning situations in which the student or classmates have participated. Usually taken in the sophomore year. This group of courses is offered ONLY during the spring semester.
